KATM Board Position Descriptions
Elected Positions.
Kansas Association of Teachers of Mathematics is proud to serve thousands of educators across the state. We serve teachers within early education, elementary education, secondary education, post-secondary education, and those who prepare pre-service teachers.
KATM’s elections happen in the spring. Board member terms span over a fiscal year, from July of the present year to June of the next year.
The position of President-Elect rolls into the position of President after one year and also serves as Past President for two years. Vice President positions rotate election cycles. Those elected to Vice President positions will serve a two-year term. Anyone elected as Secretary will also serve a two-year term.
