Our Purpose

KATM is an affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

The goals of the Association are to:

• Foster a high interest in mathematics learning and teaching.

• Support teachers' professional growth in mathematics.

• Provide a forum for discussing and addressing mathematics education issues.

• Advocate for mathematics education and its value in Kansas.

• Strengthen collaboration among Kansas mathematics education stakeholders.
